Care Instructions
Cold machine wash below 30°. Do not tumble dry. Immediately hang and line dry after the wash cycle. Avoid direct sunlight, and hang dry in a semi-covered shaded area. Shake and fluff rug fibres after drying to revive the texture. Do not bleach or use strong chemicals. Do not apply heat or iron. Do not dry clean. Not suitable for use in rooms with floor-heating. To maintain the grip on the gel dot underlay backing, avoid chemicals such as wood polish, wax and strong chemical cleaners.
Cleaning results may vary depending on the type of stain. Blot spills promptly and wash by hand or machine as needed. Always check that your rug is machine-washable before proceeding and refer to our Washing Machine Capacity Guide before washing.
Flooring Suitability
Our Gel Dot backing is not suitable for slate, stone, concrete, or floors with underfloor heating, as it may transfer or leave marks on these surfaces. Please ensure your floor type is suitable. Do not place on damp or wet flooring, and make sure the area is free from detergent or chemical residue before placing your rug down.

Made for busy homes and everyday living, our washable rugs feature a lightweight, foldable design that’s easy to clean, move and store. Depending on the size selected, larger sizes may require a commercial-sized washing machine or laundromat facility.
Unlike traditional rugs, washable rugs arrive folded rather than rolled for easier handling, transport and storage. Because of this, temporary creases or fold lines may be visible on arrival, particularly on printed designs where lighter base fibres can naturally show through when folded. This is completely normal and will gradually soften and settle over time once laid flat.
Reverse folding, gentle steaming, vacuuming and everyday foot traffic can help speed up the settling process.
